- The story of Throssell's career is told in his autobiography My Father's son. The material in this series is extensive, and offers more detail than appears in the book. It includes a large number of letters, memoranda and documents relating to himself. Many of these are photocopies of documents he has obtained, with great difficulty, from the Australian Archives and relate to himself as a security risk.
