Nancy made her first radio appearance at the age of 12; joined the ABC in 1946; was news correspondent for ABC, 1953 - ... after her marriage and move to the Northern Highlands; contributed to nationwide programs 1962-1978; and had her own program from 5DN Adelaide, 1971-1976.
This series includes material relating to both ABC and commercial radio, but is representative only.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- These papers were originally included in MS 7425, the papers of A.W.G. (Alick William Green) Whittle. They were separated from that collection in September 1995. Three additions to MS 8856 were received in 1995, 2002 and 2006 and have been incorporated into the existing series. This finding aid is based on lists prepared by the donor.
