The personal correspondents include Doris Brennan, Carol Young, Susan M. Curry, Suzanne Edgar, Joan Dugdale, Carline Ashworth, Margaret Clark, Mary Chandler, Jeanette Llewelyn, Gojko Raseta, Jean Galbraith, David and Anne Danbury, Charles Hawkins, Ken and Liz Bullock, and Jeanne and Bernie Barrett.
The literary correspondence documents Eldridge's relationships with other writers, and includes comments on the writing and publication of her various works, congratulatory letters, and personal news. The series includes single letters from or correspondence with Judith Wright, Vance Palmer, Gwen Harwood, Ian R. Mathews, John Barnes, Myra Roper, Edith Conley, Fairlie Apperly, Irene Summy, Anne Elder, and Joan Mas.
