The material in this box is supplementary to files already lodged in 2015 with NLA as part of the Estate of the late Desmond Digby.

They include biographical and professional ephemera; A box of coloured transparencies of Cosi fan tutte designed by Desmond Digby for the Elizabethan Trust Opera Company in 1964; A sketchbook of sketches of Dame Joan Sutherland in Lucrezia Borgia and Norma done by Desmond Digby during stage rehearsals at the Sydney Opera House in 1977 and 1978; Sketches and ephemera relating to The Rape of Lucretia in 1970, 1971 and 1981; A copy of Australian Letters January 1968 with cover illustration by Desmond Digby and illustrations inside for poems by Peter Porter; A design for a projected collaboration with baritone Tito Gobbi on Otello from 1969. The box also contains a copy of the souvenir program/playbill Desmond Digby designed for the Farewell Stage appearance of Dame Joan Sutherland in Sydney in 1980.
