Comprising letters, clippings, schedules, printed material, photographs and ephemera relating principally to Moffatt Oxenbould's professional life - As Co-ordinator of Planning for the Elizabethan Trust Opera Company he retained the same title when the Company became autonomous - as The Australian Opera mid-year. In July fire destroyed Her Majesty's Theatre in Sydney in which the company was performing. Some productions were destroyed and this led to a change of repertoire for the second half of the year which gave Moffatt Oxenbould the opportunity to direct Turandot, in the existing sets and costumes from Stephen Hall's 1967 production.
