Comprising letters, clippings, schedules, printed material, photographs and ephemera relating principally to Moffatt Oxenbould's professional life - As Co-ordinator of Planning for the Elizabethan Trust Opera Company throughout the year. In the first part of the year he again directed Turandot, in Melbourne (with international guest artist Amy Shuard) and in Sydney. During the Sydney season he directed his own production of Britten's The Rape of Lucretia, with designs by Desmond Digby. Edward Downes, with whom Moffatt Oxenbould began a close professional relationship, was appointed Musical Director of the company during the year.
