Comprising letters, clippings, schedules, printed material, photographs and ephemera relating principally to Moffatt Oxenbould's professional life as Co-ordinator of Planning for the Australian Opera during the period following Donald McDonald's departure as General Manager in February. In the first part of the year Moffatt Oxenbould revived his production of The Rape of Lucretia for Melbourne, the Adelaide Festival and Canberra and in November travelled to the UK for planning meetings with Edward Downes, Stephen Hall, Lord Harewood, agents and artists regarding the 1973 opening season in the Sydney Opera House.
