Alphabetical nineteenth-century art files, most of which are about particular artists. The files on T.R. Browne, Louis Buvelot, Nicholas Chevalier, John Glover, Conrad Martens, W.C. Piguenit and Eugene von Guerard are particularly strong. For these artists there are often files devoted to particular works or types of work such as lithographs, chromolithographs and so on. There are also some files about other subjects such as photography and sculpture. Research files include handwritten notes, historical and more recent newspaper and journal articles
