Content Summary:
Formed in 1961 the Trade Commissioners' Club was opened to all those who participated in a Government sponsored overseas trade mission since 1954. Copland was associated with the Club by virtue of his leadership of the Trade Mission to North America in 1960. Series 86 is a very small series of papers, largely roneoed circulars, and reminders of meetings recording his membership of the Club between 1961 and 1963.
Immediate source of acquisition:
Lady Copland presented the personal papers of Sir Douglas Copland to the National Library in September 1973. Additions to the collection were received from the Copland Family between 1977 and 1981.
