- Children's book written while Noonan was on active service in New Guinea. The book was published by Angus and Robertson in 1946 with illustrations by David Hunter Gilmore. The papers include a typescript draft, originals of 13 of the 14 colour plates, black and white artwork and a drawing and photo of the mess building at the ammunition depot outside Lae (New Guinea) where Noonan did most of the writing of this book.
