Content Summary:
Inscribed: 'One of 25 copies autographed by the author and with the cover picture bound in. A' Further inscribed: 'Dr Henry Peach. With kind regards from his old friend George Robertson'. Tipped in at the end are 4pp of notes by Hal Gye, describing the avalanche of letters which Dennis received from the 'Diggers'. Also comment upon the poem on preliminary leaf by Leon Montenaeken, and that in all the years he knew Dennis, he never once heard him mention the poet's name. Dr Henry Peach was a leading Sydney dentist.
