Fred Shenstone's copy, with his pencilled notes upon half-title, title-page, verso of title and throughout the text. Minute variations in the sizes of illustrations suggest that new plates were made from the Australian printings. Fred S. Shenstone was in charge of all publishing by Angus Robertson. He had much to do with the format and production of the Dennis books. He also was a life-long friend of Henry Lawson.
