Original dark red cloth. Title on cover in white, with device similar to Australian copies. Title on spine in white. Doreen/device/Dennis. Lettered at bottom of spine 'Gundy'. Complete with dust-jacket in colour. It depicts 'The Bloke', fully dressed, sitting dejectedly on a sea shore, with a drawing of 'Doreen' within a heart shaped border, upon the upper right hand corner. This copy contains the Montenaeken poem, also an announcement:

Doreen will Live, for The Sentimental Bloke has, with Genuine Skill, set Chords Vibrating, which are Eternal.
