In their catalogue, June 1929, Angus Robertson Ltd. stated that: '...In order to secure copyright in U.S.A. the publishers had to cable (at the cost of 60 pounds) a line from every verse and have it set up and printed there within the time specified in Uncle Sam's rotten Copyright Act.........12 copies so published.' Actually the copy contains abbreviated versions of only six of the poems in the Australian edition.

Issued as a slim booklet in brown paper wrappers, with title. The moods of Ginger Mick

Includes two copies: item 35(a) (in the original wrappers) and item 36(b) (in full morocco binding over the wrappers as issued).

The American Copyright Act requires two copies for the Library of Congress, and that two copies must be sold. If only 12 copies were issued the booklet would not ever be common.
