A collection of photographs, and letters, and other relevant material concerning the poet's associates and friends in both of the South Australian towns. Dennis's first verses were written in Laura. It was J.P. Cole, the Mayor of Laura, who had the distinction, as Dennis wrote: '...of being the very first to put any of my lines into print'.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was purchased from Harry Chaplin in 1981.
