Together with autograph notes by Hal Gye, 'Den's Prose'. He comments upon the various articles which the author wrote for the Melbourne Weekly Times. On the subject of bush fires he relates the narrow escapes the home at Toolangi had from destruction in the frequent bush fires in the vicinity. Signed 'Hal Gye and James Hackston'.
