A very attractive piece of printing, featuring a poem by Hal Gye, accompanied by some of his 'cupid' illustrations.
Bound in green cloth over the original wrappers preserved.
Together with Hal Gye's draft for poem 'Lillee Bourke', a typescript with his many alterations, and corrections. Signed 'James Hackston', and published by the Bulletin, November 14, 1951. Also pencil drawing 'James Hackston walks to town, Hal Gye, 1952'.
