This series contains Del Re's correspondence in a number of fields, dealing with a range of personal, academic and subject matters. It spans his years in Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
Del Re kept some groups of letters together by author and wherever possible this arrangement has been kept, otherwise no particular grouping is evident. Major correspondents in this series include: Tatsunosuke Ueda, Minoru Ike and family and friends who wrote in Italian.
