Files relating to Reeves' membership of the Camberwell Branch of the ALP and his involvement in various committees of the Victorian Branch of the ALP including the Urban Affairs Policy Committee, the Economic Policy Committee (on which Reeves served as Secretary), Town Planning Committee, the Public Office Selection Committee and the ALP Disputes Tribunal. There are also files on other ALP matters of interest to Reeves including State conferences, activities of the Socialist Left, the Victorian ALP split (1970-71), education, the Vietnam War, and a file on Reeves' unsuccessful candidature for the Victorian Legislative Assembly seat of Hawthorn in 1961.
