In May 1993, Maths link Australia, a national computer-based tele-communication mathematics contest, was held at the University of Canberra. The technical director of Maths link, Brian Stone, computer advisor David Buckley, and O'Halloran were instrumental in creating a national schools mathematics competition via a computer link up.

This series consists of background organisation papers, correspondence with committee members and schools, computer system notes, technical plans, and general proposals about the 1994 Maths link Australia.

The collection was donated to the Library by Mrs Marjorie O'Halloran in 1995
