Queen Elisabeth Medal awarded to Miss Pharo recognising exceptional services to Belgium in the relief of the suffering of its citizens during the First World War. Queen Elisabeth Medal was a Belgian decoration created by royal decree in October 1916. It was awarded to women, both Belgians and foreign nationals, who worked and cared for Belgian refugees and the military during the First World War by providing financial, material or medical assistance.

The medal is accompanied by a certificate and is housed in original box.
