Content Summary:
As described by Gordon, 'collection of 12 rare copies of Telegus, the newspaper brought out by copy boys and girls at the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, Sydney, during and just after World War 2. Included is a photocopy of a page carrying two stories by HG as a 16 year-old. One was on return of war correspondent Osmar White, one on a 10-shilling reward given by Frank Packer for a collar stud. A panel of Packer, Brian Penton (ed DT) and Cyril Pearl (ed ST) judged these to be the best feature and news stories of the year. Prizes were books and war savings certificates.'
