Hook Address delivered at Parliament House; a typescript paper Unfinished Journeys: Origins delivered at the joint Royal Australian Institute of Architects/Union Internationale des Architects/ Commonwealth Association of Architects Convention held in Sydney; Romaldo Giurgola – the space man, an interview with Paul Downton; an address delivered at the Graduation Ceremony, University of New South Wales, Faculties of Architecture, Arts, and the Board of Studies in General Education. Versions include original hand-written by Giurgola, who was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science by the University at this Ceremony; and a published version of Giurgola's A. S. Hook Address from Architecture Australia.
Immediate source of acquisition:
This collection arrived at the National Library in multiple consignments. The first consignment arrived in 2022 and comprises Boxes 1-47. The second consignment arrived in 2023 and comprises Boxes 48-66 and Rolls 1-28. Photographic material was also received with the second consignment; this material has not yet been processed and is not yet reflected in the collection's finding aid.
