January 1992, Heritage Technology Exhibition Pte Ltd., on behalf of Singapore's Ministry of Defence commissioned an international museum consultant to prepare a brief for a high-tech exhibition centre. Mitchell/Giurgola Thorp Architects, Canberra with DPA Architects, Singapore were commissioned to execute the building design and to collaborate on the interior fit out of the project. Includes folded prints of pre-schematic site plans and isometric drawing
Immediate source of acquisition:
This collection arrived at the National Library in multiple consignments. The first consignment arrived in 2022 and comprises Boxes 1-47. The second consignment arrived in 2023 and comprises Boxes 48-66 and Rolls 1-28. Photographic material was also received with the second consignment; this material has not yet been processed and is not yet reflected in the collection's finding aid.
