Content Summary:
This consignment comprises manuscripts (manual typewriter), handwritten drafts and edited printouts from The Collected Poems Volume One – The Ascension of Sheep(1980) to Supervivid Depastoralism(2021). There are journals from (2010-2022), some of these containing original drawing poems as well as a CD produced by Writing WA and the West Australian Education Department Including Parrot deaths: rites of passage. Personal papers Contain photographs, ephemera, correspondence from publishers and peers such as Javant Biarujia,, Ronald Sharp, Dennis Haskell, Allan McKinley, Ian Henderseon, and Roger Greenwald. Of note there two paintings by Karl Wiebke, gifted to Kinsella for launching Wiebke's exhibition in 1996 at Galerie Düsseldorf.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were purchased from John Kinsella by the Library in 1990, 1992, 1993 and 2018.
