Metro Antiques, a decorative arts gallery and retail shop, was established by Ioannou in Twin Street Arcade, Adelaide, in late 1980. The gallery dealt in European and Australian decorative arts from lalique glass to ceramics and Art Deco and Art Nouveau in all media.

This series consists of correspondence, catalogues, ledger books, receipts, journal articles and newscuttings relating to the business.

Immediate source of acquisition:
The collection was donated to the Library by Noris Ioannou in 1997 under the Taxation for the Arts Incentive Scheme.
