After leaving the Philippines in 1931 Inglis Moore maintained an ongoing interest in the island group, occasionally writing articles and regularly corresponding with acquaintances such as Amador Daguid and A.V.H. Hartendorp. Inglis Moore returned to the Philippines on short study trips in 1947 and 1950.

See also Series 31 for an album of newsclippings compiled by Inglis Moore when he was in the Philippines, 1929-31. Series 32 includes a number of photographs of the Philippines and two bags of unlabelled film canisters.

Immediate source of acquisition:
In 1979, the year following Tom Inglis Moore's death, the National Library purchased the Inglis Moore Papers from his daughter, Pacita Alexander.
