- Near Lake Mackay in 1932 Terry's expedition found a curious circular well cut vertical in sandstone. Floods had filled it with desert rubbish and sand. Blacks had dug down corkscrew fashion to water 30 below. Terry opened it yet got insufficient water for his camels, and no.s 77/17 and 15 noted on verso.
