A scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, arranged to form a "book" of short stories written by Beatrice and published by the Tasmanian Mail. Hudspeth used a variety of pen names for most of the stories and poems. Some of the pen names included, Judith, J.C.E., BMH (Hobart) and Bluff. Only one story "Where the Old Years Go" and one poem "Our Garden", are attributed to Beatrice M. Hudspeth by name. There are 28 short stories and 4 poems in the Blue Album.
