Content Summary:

Gifford was a member of the Bread and Cheese Club, Melbourne, and this series includes a souvenir poster, autographed menus and other papers relating to Club activities. There is also a card autographed by Sir Donald Bradman, 1932; a collection of bookplates; a copy of the Report by the Local Government Act Revision Committee on powers, responsibilities and organisation of local government in South Australia (1970), for which Gifford was a consultant; and miscellaneous programs, printed material and other documents.

Four files, one poster and one volume.

Immediate source of acquisition:
Papers relating to the 1998 Constitutional Convention (now Series 8) were donated to the Library by Gifford in 1998. The remainder of the collection was donated by Gifford in 2002.
