Fisher was a keen amateur photographer, and this series consists largely of his photographs and photographic albums. All stages of his life are depicted, including his early years in Scotland. The largest group of photographs records the visit to Australia by a delegation of British Labour parliamentarians in 1913. There is also a presentation volume of portrait photographs of all the Federal Labor Members who served with Fisher. It was presented on the eve of his departure for London in December 1915.

- The papers were donated to the Library in several instalments by Fisher's family between 1961 and 1990.
