The bulk of the papers in this series belong to Margaret (Peggy) Fisher, Fisher's daughter. In 1973 she organised a social function to celebrate the 70th anniversary of her father's entry into politics. The correspondence mainly consists of acceptances or apologies for non-attendance at this function.
Miscellaneous items include a passport belonging to Andrew Fisher (1916-1917); invitations and newscuttings. Photographic material includes a portrait of Mrs Irvine (Margaret Fisher's grandmother), the unveiling of a memorial to Fisher at Hampstead Cemetery, London by British Prime Minister, Ramsay MacDonald (1930) and family members.
