Of particular interest is a letter from S.M. Bruce dated 25 September 1929, outlining his ideas on the arbitration question (item 2/64a). There is also a copy of a letter to W.M. Hughes dated 22 August 1929, signed by Perkins as Government Whip, notifying him of his expulsion from the UAP (item 2/65). Both of these are in file 35.
