- This series consists mainly of programmes for concerts and broadcasts at which Hutchens and Evans gave two-piano recitals. These programs cover the period from 1924, when Hutchens and Evans their first two-piano recital, to 1965. They are arranged in chronological order in five albums. The albums also contain a few newspaper cuttings relating to the duo-pianists' work. Another volume in the series contains programs and newspaper cuttings relating to the duo-pianists' tour of New Zealand in 1946. Also included in the series is an album containing articles from newspapers and periodicals discussing the performances of Hutchens and Evans, and the Hutchens-Evans Scholarship Fund, which was established in 1954 to assist talented music students. It also contains some programs of concerts and broadcasts given by the duo-pianists.

- The Hutchens Papers were presented to the National Library by Mrs Joyce Hutchens and were received in three consignments in October 1967, November 1967 and January 1987.
