- This series consists of an album containing photographs of Hutchens from early childhood to 1965. In addition are photographs of Tobias Matthay, Sir Alexander McKenzie, members of Hutchens' family, and people with whom he worked, two photographs taken at the 1956 U.N.E.S.C.O. Music Seminar in Melbourne, and two albums of photographs of ex pupils.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The Hutchens Papers were presented to the National Library by Mrs Joyce Hutchens and were received in three consignments in October 1967, November 1967 and January 1987.
