Other diary entries are found on loose foolscap pages covering the period June to July of 1968, in a foolscap student lecture pad wherein he recorded a trip to Canberra in May to June of 1970, and a shorthand notebook wherein, amongst other notes, Byrne recorded his trip to Canberra in August of 1970 when his work was exhibited in Kings Hall and was finally accepted by the Government.
