Proof copy of "Caring for our Australian Alps catchments" by Graeme L. Worboys et al. Prepared for the Australian Alps Liaison Committee and the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. Also includes inserted covering note from Graeme Worboys to Alec Costin.

Colour photographs and numbered negatives. Photos show flowers, track erosion, land-drift area and 2002 fire effects at Thredbo. Two negative strips are stuck together. Originally housed in torn labelled QFL Photos envelope.

Letter from Nikita Lopoukhine (Chair of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature World Commission on Protected Areas) to Ted Baillieu (Premier of Victoria) and cc'd to Ryan Smith (Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Victoria) and Tony Bourke (Federal Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities). Letter expresses concern regarding the re-introduction of grazing in the Alpine National Park of Victoria.

This large and diverse collection was compiled by Alec Costin then organised and catalogued by the eScholarship Research Centre at The University of Melbourne from 2017-2019. The collection was then transferred to the National Library of Australia in 2020.
