- Black and white stereo transect photographs. Each photo mounted on numbered and labelled index card. Photos appears to show, inter alia, tussock grass, sticks, camera-stand legs, quadrat legs and leaf litter. Card no. 1 includes possible burrow or hole [crayfish?], no 3 is blurred and a foot is included in no. 3 (right) and no. 4 (left). Labelling on card no. 4 reads: "other neg. not printed. it is on this reel."

- This large and diverse collection was compiled by Alec Costin then organised and catalogued by the eScholarship Research Centre at The University of Melbourne from 2017-2019. The collection was then transferred to the National Library of Australia in 2020.
