Content Summary:

Buff "Leica Photo Service" envelope (labelled "103-119: 69-113") containing seventeen photographs (numbered 71, 77, 78, 83, 85, 87, 92, 95, 96, 97, 99, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 108, 110, 113) and two negatives (corresponding to photos numbered 103 and 108). Subjects include flowers, groundcovers, trees, dead trees, rocky outcrops, buildings and telegraph pole, shrubs, etc.

Photographs contained in annotated slips of paper. Annotations read "121: Fig 19: Extensive .. . P.C. alliance modified .. . by controlled grazing (Yaouk)"; "122: Fig 21: Local ... P.C. Alliance destroyed by excessive trampling... (Near W'bel)"; "Dingo (no negative)". Photos and annotations are wrapped together in a piece of paper labelled "120: 120-121-122: Other Negatives of Poa alliance (Not required)".

Photograph labelled "161: Incipient [muskeg?] near [Huke?] Bay" inside small buff envelope labelled "161: Bob Crocker Photos and Negs".

This large and diverse collection was compiled by Alec Costin then organised and catalogued by the eScholarship Research Centre at The University of Melbourne from 2017-2019. The collection was then transferred to the National Library of Australia in 2020.
