- Much of the correspondence in this series relates to the interviews conducted by Armstrong, along with copyright issues and progress of the thesis and book. The general correspondence file is arranged in envelopes by year. Correspondents include Phillip Adams, Eva Jago, Beverley Symons, Betty Collins, Alan Hardy, Shirley Hardy-Rix, Frances Driscoll (née Hardy), Ray Verrills (Williams), Terri Merlyn, Leon Arrowsmith, Audrey and Jack Blake, Jim Hardy, Jack Beasley, Vera Deacon, A.W. Oliver, Bert Nolan, Don Tonkin, Bruce Pascoe, Len Fox, Nancy Wills, Ann Curthoys and Peter Coleman. The email correspondence file includes a copy of an exchange of letters between Frank Hardy and Oksana Krugerskaya regarding Hardy's publishing activities in Russia, written in 1959 and supplied to Armstrong by Peter Coleman.
