- Most of the photographs in this series relate to Edwards' time in Greece and Europe, 1947-1952. The remainder comprise class photographs from Moore Theological College; photographs while a member of the Australian Infantry Force in WWI; and photographs from his time at St Augustine's, Bulli and St James Church, Sydney.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The papers of William John Edwards were donated to the Library by his son-in-law, Arthur Pulford, in 2003. The papers had been in the possession of Edwards' daughter, Jill Pulford, since 1967 and came to the Library following her death.
