- Between 1976 and 1983 Langmore was Economic Adviser to the Leader of the Opposition and to the Treasurer after the Labor Party won the 1983 election. For a short period before becoming Member of Parliament for the ACT seat of Fraser in 1984 he was also Senior Private Secretary to the Minister of Employment and Industrial Relations. The papers in this series have been brought together by the Library. However papers from this period can also be found elsewhere in the collection, particularly in Series 1, General Correspondence and Series 5, Economics.
