- This series contains a typescript copy of a letter-diary of Sir Edward Ford and printed reports of medical and historical articles by Ford. The letter-diary was written to Bill Cantwell while Ford was overseas, 6 August 1946 - 24 September 1947, studying for a Diploma in Public Health at London University. The letters refer to his studies; visits to the housing estates, a fever hospital, the Royal Society for Tropical Medicine and other institutions; but mostly deal with his travels in Britain, cultural events and his relationship with Cantwell.

- The collection is restricted until 2016. The correspondence and other papers relating to Cynthia Nolan are closed until the deaths of Elizabeth Harrower, Sir Sidney Nolan and Jinx Nolan.
