Content Summary:
Most photographs represent Dixon's career; some are more personal in nature. Framed black and white photograph of Sir Owen and Lady Dixon at the Bicentennial of John Marshall, Chief Justice of the United States, 1801-1835, held at Harvard Law School 1955. Framed photograph of Brigadier H.H. Angle of the Canadian Army, chief of the Corps of United Nations Observers in Kashmir 1949-1950. Brigadier Angle was killed on duty in 1950. 6 folders, marked Blackstone Studies, of studio and official photographs of Sir Owen Dixon c1940s to c1960s. These include photographs taken in the USA and Australia.
