Ring binder containing background reading ('research', though that word is not appropriate to the bower-bird activity of collecting detail for fiction) for all branching versions of what started as 'Munja' novel, and became 'To the Night Sky, 'Goats', 'Orion's Belt', etc., and finally is absorbed into 'When Colts Ran'. The original of photocopy in section D of the binder is part of RMcD's 1990s deposit of material with National Library (see No. 97 in that listing: RMcD's diary of trip to Kimberleys 1988)
