Content Summary:
Much of this series comprises correspondence between family members and with legal advisers and the Australian government regarding claims for compensation for the family's shoe factory in Kamienogora, Poland (formerly Landeshut, Schlesien, Germany) which was seized by the German government prior to World War II. Many documents are in German.
Immediate source of acquisition:
Marea Prerauer's nephew Alyn Tilleard donated the papers to the National Library of Australia in two instalments in 2006 and 2007. The National Library of Australia's Curator of Music Robyn Holmes and music historian Graeme Skinner packed the papers and undertook some arrangement and listing of the collection.
