In 1974 and 1978, while he was on study leave in England, Fry carried out a survey of theses on Australian history submitted to British universities. He identified 82 theses written between 1901 and 1976. The resulting bibliography was published by the National Library in 1981. The papers conists of correspondence, notes for seminars, a press release and a copy of the publication. The correspondents include Patricia Larby, William Kellaway and Graeme Powell.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were purchased by the Library from Eric Fry in 2000. Further papers were added in 2008.
