- In 1986 Fry edited Common cause; essays on Australian and New Zealand labour history, published by Allen and Unwin. Fry wrote the last essay on the writing of labour history in Australia. The papers comprise Fry's letters to contributors, correspondence with the publisher, a publication agreement, reviews and a copy of the book. The correspondents include John Iremonger and Julia Tanguy.
