This whispering in our hearts is a study of a number of European Australians who in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century fought to defend Aboriginal rights and to denounce the ill treatment of the Aborigines.
The series comprises correspondence with the publisher John Iremonger, the manuscript and a typescript.
