Includes manuscripts for There was a Man Lived in the Moon, and copy of "Robertson News" community newsletter. This piece is a recording project consisting of original children's songs and arrangements of nursery rhymes for Jane Sheldon and Teddy Tahu Rhodes.
There are 20 nursery rhyme arrangements and two folk song arrangements among the manuscript, plus original settings of three Edward Lear poems, collectively entitled Nonsense, and 'Little Star' a setting of Jane Taylor's poem 'Twinkle, twinkle, little star', begun the day after the birth of the composer's daughter and dedicated to her.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The first consignment was donated to the Library by Andrew Ford under the Taxation Incentives for the Arts Scheme in February 2001. Further papers were received in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2019.
